Rules
Everything that decides how the board behaves, in one place. There is nothing else behind it.
What you buy
A digital card on a public board. It carries your name, your logo, a one-line description, a link to your site, and a public counter of the visits that link has sent.
The card is not removed when someone else pays more, and it carries no expiry date. It stays on the board for as long as the board is running. The amount paid sets how large the card is and where it sits.
At a glance
- A new card costs from
- $5
- Moving past another card
- $1 above it
- Taking first place
- $5 above the leader
- Most a card can hold
- $999,999
- Two cards on the same amount
- the older one sits higher
- Raising a card you own
- you pay only the difference
Getting a card
Whole dollars only. You choose the amount, and the amount decides where the card lands. Paying less than the leader still places the card, further down the board.
Moving up
Enter the same address again and name a higher total. You pay the difference between what the card holds already and the new total, so moving up never means paying twice for the same ground.
Taking first place costs slightly more than passing any other card, so the top position does not change hands over a single dollar.
Card sizes
Size follows position down to #20. The first card spans the full width of the board on its own, the second and third each take a full row, and cards step down in size from there. No two cards in the same row are the same size.
From #21 down, every card is the same size. The amounts in that range are close together, and shrinking cards further would make them unreadable. A $5 card is small, but it is always legible.
Your logo
Taken automatically from your own site, along with your name and a short description, so there is nothing to upload. If your site publishes no icon, the board draws a monogram in your colour instead.
What can be listed
A product website or an X profile.
Not accepted: chat and invite links, link shorteners, adult content, and anything presenting itself as a brand it does not belong to. Query strings are removed from every address, so affiliate and tracking links do not carry through.
Cards that break these rules are removed, and payment is not returned.
Click counts
Each card shows how many visits it has sent. The figure is public because it is the only plain measure of what the payment produced. It counts clicks rather than individual people.
After payment
The card is created automatically the moment the payment clears, usually within seconds. Because it is published immediately, payments are not refundable once a card is live. Duplicate charges are returned in full. Write to talrose187@gmail.com.
